Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan is the Founding Co-Artistic Director for the new theater company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director for Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 until 2019. She had been an actor and board member of SSC since 2011. Additionally, she was a part of as a member of the SSC as a producer as well as a costume/set design composer/music director and as a text coach and as the Artistic Director. Though generally leading from within the group of actors, in her final year she was able to make her debut as director (and Lighting Designer) in the SSC's King Lear.
